-Ceramo-Ceramic Dental Crown, Zirconia Base E-max World Premium Quality
E-MAX CROWN
In general, a dental crown is a prosthesis making it possible to cover a damaged or devitalized tooth or to restore a natural aesthetic of the mouth. There are different types of dental crowns such as the ceramic-metal crown or zirconium crown.
The zirconia crown is also called a porcelain fused to metal crown on a zirconia base, a ceramic zirconia crown, a zirconium crown, a zirconium oxide crown, etc. Its specific feature is that it does not have a metal frame.
The inner part is made of zirconia, a material of white color and the outer part is covered with cosmetic ceramic. By virtue of its characteristics, zirconia today enables the highest level of aesthetics in dentistry to be achieved.
WHEN IS THE ZIRCONIUM CROWN RECOMMENDED?
The zirconium crown is used in the following cases:
• Restore a broken or damaged tooth
• Replace an old crown for the reliability or aesthetics
• Correct an aesthetic problem
It is recommended for patients suffering from "bruxism" (more commonly known as teeth grinding) because zirconia offers greater resistance over time than any other material
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A ZIRCONIA CROWN?
UNIQUE AESTHETIC RESULT
Due to its natural appearance, zirconium is very aesthetic in the mouth. The absence of metal (as present in a ceramic-metal crown) prevents the appearance of a gray border near the gum line. The zirconia crown has a nature of translucent which allows to pass in light and give your teeth some reflection, thus integrating perfectly with your natural teeth.
RESISTANT
Thanks to its mechanical properties, zirconium oxide is undoubtedly the material offering the greatest strength and solidity. As a result, zirconia crowns have a much longer life than other dental crowns, such as metal-ceramic crowns. Zirconium also has the advantage of showing great thermal resistance, without the unpleasant feeling associated with a metal crown.
BIOCOMPATIBLE
Zirconium is a biocompatible material. It fits perfectly into your teeth without any allergenic risk.
HIGH FINISH THANKS TO EXCELLENT CAD / CAM TECHNOLOGY
Using computer-aided design and manufacturing processes provides patients a precise result, reducing the time required to fit crowns.
GUM PROTECTION
The quality of the manufacture of the zirconium crown makes it totally adapted to the gingiva and therefore more waterproof than a traditional crown. Indeed, in the case of dental implants, zirconium being more resistant to bacteria than other materials, it considerably avoids the risk of peri-implantitis (infection that affects the tissues around the implants leading to a loss of bone support, with a significant risk of total loss of the implant).

- Zirconia veneer
Proven, simple and flexible top quality zirconia ceramic dental veneer
A dental implant is a titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing natural tooth.
After about 3 months it is integrated by the bone and will serve as a support for a crown, a bridge, a clipped prosthesis.
It is made of titanium (zirconia is very rare and very expensive). The abutment, part between the implant and the prosthesis, is made of titanium, there is also zirconia but the cost of treatment is 2 to 3 times more expensive with this material.
In your journey of researching information on implant systems offered in clinics and care, it is almost certain that you will find a lot of positive information about the brands mentioned above.
The integration rate of implants depends among other things on the quantity and quality of bone existing at the time of implantation. It varies on average between 95 and 97%. At the Academic clinic, the success rate for implantology treatments is over 99.00%.
Your German implant guaranteed for 5 years on the treatment.
The prosthesis on implant is also guaranteed, the number of years of guarantee varies according to the type of tooth prosthesis.
Note that our guarantee is made on the treatment and the implant itself, not only on the implant which has 1000 times less risk of having a problem.
+You Should Also Know That ...
1) Caring for foreign patients requires taking the minimum risk. When you come from France, you should be able to easily get treatment for dental treatment and quickly return to your life in France.
2) Oral hygiene must be perfect to avoid inflammation.
Many patients have to make a significant effort at this level.
3) Smoking increases the rate of short, medium and long term failure of surgery on jaw or teeth. Smoking patients are common.
These 3 points already determine the methods to be followed to obtain the lowest failure rate during treatment, with a minimum of clinic stays, and while controlling the budget.
In some very unfavorable cases (very strong bone resorption, heavy smoker patient, periodontitis ...), implant placement is not recommended because it is too risky.
+Methods For Implant Placement Germany
By browsing the internet you will discover information not all going in the same direction. It is confusing for the patient, we know that. For this reason, the dentists explain to you the different methods of care also the reason why they prefer to implement at the clinic.
+In 2 Surgical Steps
The gum is stitched over the dental implant (therefore invisible in the mouth) and after 3 months the dentist makes a small incision to release the implant and insert a "healing" screw on top. The gum tissue heals around this screw to create the area to receive the abutment and crown during subsequent maintenance.
This is the method most often practiced at the IDH clinic because it is the safest way to avoid inflammation around the implant (peri-implants). It is also the only one operation that provides the best long-term aesthetic result of optimizing the adaptation of the gum tissue with the abutment and the crown.
+In 1 Surgical Step
The gum heals around the small screw that closes the upper part of the dental implant, and 3 months later the dentist will fix the abutment and the dental prosthesis in the clinic.
Our dentists prefer the 2-step treatment method for the reasons explained above.
+Without Opening The Gum?
In favorable cases, ie if the bone is sufficient in quantity and quality, it is possible to apply without opening the gum and without stitches. The care method consists of removing a small circular piece of gum tissue, preparing the implant site with a drill, and then screwing in.
Our dentists rarely practice this method in the clinic, the success of which in the short, medium and long term is less than that in 2 surgical stegs.
+Extraction - Implantation
In some cases it is possible to extract one or more teeth and implant immediately afterwards in the clinic. This avoids waiting 3 to 4 months for healing after the extraction.
The tooth to be extracted must not contain any infection. The gum must be healthy. The bone situation should be favorable in terms of quantity and quality. Other factors can also be taken into account before starting care, such as the situation of adjacent and opposing teeth. An analysis that is both precise and comprehensive including 3-dimensional radiological examination with a cone beam and a chairside examination to make the correct clinical diagnosis.
+Immediate Loading
In the favorable case, the patient can receive a fixed provisional prosthesis a few hours or days after fitting, this is the case with the All-on-4 and All-on-6 method.
This technique of immediate loading is rarely performed in our clinic, among other reasons:
- Applicable mainly to remake a complete jaw (not for 1 or 2 implants)
- The fixed provisional prosthesis costs more than a removable prosthesis, at the end of the treatment it does not serves more. Regardless of the price, it is best to invest in what is definitive, such as a better brand or prosthetic material.
Even with these detailed explanations, you may have some question marks in your mind, do not hesitate to call us to discuss them in French or English in person.
Zircon is used in the dentistry for dental crowns and bridges as well as on implants and on natural teeth. In addition to its qualities for the aesthetic result. Plus, this material is tolerated better by the gum and resistant.
+Difference Between Zirconia Crown / Ceramic-Metal Crown
The zirconia crown consists of a zirconia frame manufactured using the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing technique (CAD / CAM or CAD-CAM in English).
The ceramic-metal crown is made up of a metal frame made using the casting technique (molten metal poured into a mold).
Want to know more? Consult the page of our site dedicated to the ceramic-metal crown.
For both types, the framework is then covered by the prosthetist with several layers of ceramic in order to give the natural shape and color of the tooth.
ALL-ON 4 / ALL-ON 6 prosthesis
I present to you the dental prosthesis all on 4
This is precauniser for edentulous subjects.
There are 4 dental implants fixed at certain angles of the gum in order to have a total stability of this prosthesis.
Here we made an addition of pinkish porcelain gingiva because the patient had an absence on his gum following a bone loss in his.
This distance here is too great we have filled it to have short teeth.
If we had the teeth implanted directly here we will have teeth that are too long.
We have rediscovered the aesthetics of his gum by this pinkish porcelain gum filling.
All on4 prostheses are a very simple and very suitable system, we need this one for revisions or others.
Here is the type of dental implants on the patient, 4 to 6 implants are enough for the good maintenance of the prosthesis.
Here are the E-MAX zirconia teeth that are fixed on it.
These are teeth fixed one by one to have a beautiful aesthetic of the gum.
We put the prosthesis back on the gum, we fix it by screws.
The patient cannot remove these screws by himself, because they are special with a self-locking device.
You need more bony gum to implant in 6.
Otherwise we use the same method to fill this gum with pinkish porcelain.
